Hi John, this is great news for wheelchair users it sounds very promising! Unfortunately, I’m one of the unique individuals that can’t sit up at all so I have a custom power chair that lays flat so I can get around. I don’t want to feel left behind I’m not sure if there’s much you can say/do to as accommodate me as well. My wheelchair lays 5' long so I would pretty much need a whole row. I appreciate what you are doing to make traveling accessible! Hope to hear from you!

I came across Qatar seating map by chance the other day and noted they had designated handicapped seating at all aisle seats.

Accepted this is way different to a drive in secure pad but it’s better than most airline provisions.

Parkinson’s apart, my wife’s ailments include positional vertigo which necessitates her being in a window seat so that she always has a verizon to view. Otherwise she’s in hospital for days.

As her Parkinson’s progresses, we could well face the risk of being grounded if she can’t access the window view.

The increased width of the w/c space is such good news.

It’s exciting and I know that many people will want to stay in their wheelchairs when they fly, but I personally like to transfer so I am wondering how they would accommodate me differently than they do today?
