I live in Plano, Texas, north of Dallas. So many great sights, sports, arts and music venues in Dallas. Sunny days are abundant.

My daughter and I will be sailing on the Emerald Princess through the Panama Canal

For the eclipse. Only one of two ships in this country where you can see the eclipse.

We are going to Fredericksburg,Tx to see it but t we are staying in San Antonio! I booked reservations in October and this was as close as I could get without having to pay $1400?a night

Advanced odds of seeing the eclipse are about the same in all 4 locations - somewhere between 30 and 50%. It's worth a try, but I'd choose somewhere you'd like to visit anyway, probably Cleveland or Buffalo.

I actually just booked a trip for a client for the eclipse to Cleveland April 6-9. They have a free festival going on that weekend sponsored by NASA and the Science Center in Cleveland. .I'd love to help book it for you if you would like

Check detailed weather forecasts for each site. Go to whichever location has the best weather forecast for clear skies during the time of the eclipse.

Vaonis is going to be in Dallas -they have a Hestia telescope that uses phone camera to show view or take image. Much more accessible than standard telescope viewfinders.

I’m going to Indiana but David Baron is going to Texas based on typical low cloud cover. It’s still a crapshoot.
