I often was flying to the Philippines with my Filipino wife. I used to be able to walk with support but no more. Wife worries about me peeing in-flight. I told her I could use a small bottle like I use with my chair. She is not schemish about handling the bottle to bathroom. She was wondering if you all had a different solution! Also looking for full size van or small motorhome. I drive with hand controls. Needs a lift Gaileo67@fuse.net
On 2022 I be had an illness that left me unable to use my legs.
Until this happened I was an enthusiastic traveler.
There is nothing I would enjoy more!
I am just beginning to look into literature in this area hoping to be able to travel again.
I am thrilled and hopeful to read about your many traveling experiences; however, I see a lacking in female traveling experiences in your many articles.
Our needs and accommodations are very different from male needs when it comes to spending more hours traveling.
Am I correct to think this is a big blind spot in dealing with accommodations for females in wheelchairs?
Am I just not aware of sources of these kind of resources?
If the first, I would appreciate your input on how to change this oversight.
It the second, I would appreciate you recommending resources so I can educate myself.
Thank you so much for your inspirational newsletter!
