Once again, texas leads the way for oppressive policies- the place where they just love talking about those "job killing regualtions|". I took a wheelchair taxi for a 28 mile trip to SeaTac airport from Redmond, Washington. With tolls and tip, the ride cost $93.. The very next day, a wheelchair taxi from the Houston airport to my new home-a 22 mile trip-cost $420. The One Star State just love to screw over consumers. I'm quite sure the taxi companies have made substantial bribes...oops, of course they're campaign contributions to every lowlife scumbag republican. Talk about shitholes, texas is at the top of the list.

Calgary and Edmonton accessible vans have a reciprocal agreement. Just call ahead, provide your home account number, and then book a van for your visit.

It's happening in Australian cities too. Not everyone can catch regular public transport. Taxi drivers say it is Uber that has ruined the industry for them. I am not sure if that is true or not.

Hi There - Thank you for your work on this. I have not had direct experience with accessible vans however the hotel vans, which I rely on to get to and from airports, do not always properly maintain their lifts. Had a terrible experience with this at the Boston Airport HIlton on route to Logan Airport.

Fort Collins, CO has a transportation company that has wheelchair accessible vehicles that will take you to and from Denver International Airport. The fee was comparable to taxi fare. They also serve part of Wyoming and of course, the Denver area in CO.

I have had wheelchair accessible taxis in both Seattle and Vancouver.

Ubers are refusing to take folding manual wheelchairs. (Mine is a 16lb manual that folds) I Contacted Uber Customer Service and was blown off...

Uber was already sued for violating the ADA before, I guess they didn't learn.

Thank you. I’ve posted on LinkedIn and tagged the hospitality industry organizations to alert them to act. Inaccessible cities - those without mobility-able taxis - dint attract tourists or conventions.
